I have a Masters of Science degree from Boston University Business School and a Bachelors of Science degree from Fordham University majoring in Business Administration. At Brooklyn Technical High School, I was on the Math Team and actively participated in many competitions, such as the AMC and the Moody's Mega Math Challenge. During my high school and college years, I tutored math and taught piano. I currently teach classical piano privately. As a tutor, I can relate to the mind of the student and explain concepts using everyday terms and examples to more effectively convey information to the student.

I am passionate about students learning the wonderful Spanish language! I teach all levels of Spanish, including Conversational Spanish and SAT Subject Tests. While I am not Hispanic, I took Spanish classes every year from the second grade through high school. I then went to Rice University for college, where I took a Spanish class every semester, including a medical Spanish interpreting internship. After that I went to medical school, where I worked as a Spanish medical interpreter for doctors and launched a Medical Spanish curriculum. I also love movies, music, and books in Spanish. I know what it's like approaching this language from the outside, and I have a lot of helpful tricks to break down and simplify the language. I will not only help you ace your tests but also develop a fluency and love for the language! I love what I do so I am a fun, patient, and effective learning partner.

I'm currently a fourth year medical student at a private medical school in Texas. I've been involved with tutoring since middle school continuing all the way through medical school. I am a current graduate student at Columbia University in the City of New York. Tutoring since high school, I have worked with students ages 11-22 (from middle school through college) in subjects as varied as math, organizational skills, PRAXIS prep, and of course, biochemistry! I am currently entering my fourth year of medical school at Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wheaton College in Illinois, where I graduated in 2017 with high honors.
