I am primarily an SAT and writing tutor with two years of experience and over 60 former students. I have spent hundreds of hours familiarizing myself with dozens of real SAT tests and SAT format-specific strategies. While a tutor, and later general manager, at a boutique university admissions consulting company in Cairo Egypt, I applied my teaching experience to a leading role developing SAT curricula for a variety of skill levels.

I am currently applying to medical school and enjoy powerlifting, grand strategy games, historical fiction, and chocolate.

I am a junior at Columbia University double majoring in Financial Engineering and Computer Science. Since high school, I have extensively tutored French students for standardized testing (SAT/ACT). This helped me bridge the obvious language gap whilst breaking down the tests into their fundamentals to better grasp the strategy behind them. I am a junior at Rice University working towards a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Since I moved to Houston, I have been tutoring family members to help them develop their math skills, and make sure they gain a better understanding of the subject. I am a rising Senior at Williams College where I major in History and Political Science with a certificate in Arabic. I am a Health Sciences and Biology double major at Northeastern University, graduating in just one year. I have worked in part-time biology research lab for three years, as well as full-time in a hospital in Boston for over a year now, in both clinical and research settings.

I am passionate about education and helping each of my students to reach their full potential. I also have prior experience teaching students of a variety of ages both in the classroom and on a one-on-one basis. I completed my undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University in May 2015. During the course of my studies, I taught English as a second language to Palestinian refugees in southern Lebanon, where I led an intermediate English class and a creative writing course. In both classes, I had students from a wide range of ages, from the early primary through the late secondary stages of their education. After graduating in 2015, I taught a course on Anglo-American poetry to students from grades 6-12 at the Vasant Valley School in New Delhi, India. At Vasant Valley, I taught over a hundred students about the fundamental components of English-language poetry and introduced them to select poems from several British and American poetic movements. I also helped students strengthen their writing skills through imitation writing exercises. Additionally, I tutored several students outside of class both at Vasant Valley and in southern Lebanon. Through these experiences, I learned to share my passion for learning and intellectual growth with all of the students I worked with.

I am passionate about giving back these lessons the same way I was able to receive them! I have taught students of many different ages from as little as 6 years old to as old as 16/17.
