I am working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Pure and Applied Mathematics as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Astronomy and Physics. I have enjoyed studying math and science since I was in elementary school. I would always help my friends out by answering their questions about the material. For about the last five years, I have had my own tutoring business where I have tutored a wide variety of math courses from elementary school math to pre-calculus and calculus. I like to make sure my students have a complete understanding of the core concepts before going into practice questions. I have also had experience helping my peers with physics and computer science courses.

AP Physics C: E&M is where calculus and electromagnetism collide — Gauss's law integrals, Ampère's law, RC and RL circuit transients — and Nathan tackles each of these by tying the math directly to the physical intuition behind it. As a computer science and engineering student at UCF who passed 15 AP exams, he knows how to break down vector calculus applications so they feel methodical rather than overwhelming.
AP Physics C: E&M is where calculus and physics collide — Gauss's law integrals, Faraday's law, RC circuits, and Maxwell's equations all demand fluency in both. As a mechanical engineering student at Purdue, Austin uses these concepts daily and can unpack the vector calculus behind electromagnetic fields in a way that makes the math feel purposeful. Rated 4.9 by students.
Gauss's law, Ampère's law, Faraday's law — AP Physics C: E&M asks students to think in three dimensions with vector calculus tools they've barely learned. Taha breaks down each Maxwell equation into physical intuition first, then builds up the mathematical formalism around it. His deep background in both calculus and physics lets him bridge the gap between what students see in their math classes and what the E&M exam actually demands.
Gauss's law, Ampère's law, Faraday's law — AP Physics C: E&M asks students to choose the right symmetry argument and execute a surface or line integral under time pressure. Yurok tackles this by drilling the geometric reasoning behind each law so students can recognize which tool applies before they start calculating. His physics and mathematics background at Emory keeps the vector calculus from becoming a bottleneck.
Gauss's law, Ampère's law, Faraday's law — AP Physics C: E&M throws vector calculus at students who are often still getting comfortable with multivariable thinking. Matthew studies both mathematics and physics at Harvard and has coursework in multivariable calculus, so he can unpack the geometry behind flux integrals and field line arguments in a way that makes Maxwell's equations feel less like magic.
Gauss's law, Ampère's law, Faraday's law — AP Physics C: E&M throws a wall of abstract vector calculus at students who were just getting comfortable with mechanics. Lillian tackles each law by grounding it in a concrete physical scenario first, then layering in the math. Her systematic approach to problem-solving, sharpened through years of STEM coursework, translates well to navigating complex circuit and field problems.
Unlock your academic potential with a tutor who bridges the gap between elite performance and foundational mastery. As a National AP Scholar with advanced coursework in Multivariable Calculus and Data Structures, I bring high-level expertise to your studies. Whether you are tackling complex algorithms or advanced math, I provide the precise guidance you need to excel. My experience at Kumon and Mathnasium taught me that even the most complex goals start with strong basics. I believe in both individual learning as well learning through guided practice, so whatever your way to learn I can accomodate to help you do the very best.
AP Physics C: E&M is widely considered the hardest AP science exam, and it's also the subject closest to Sabrina's daily life as a Princeton electrical engineering student with an applied physics focus. She digs into Gauss's law, Ampère's law, RC circuits, and Faraday's law with the fluency of someone who uses Maxwell's equations in her own research and coursework. Her physics research at a Max Planck Institute adds another layer of depth to her explanations.
AP Physics C: E&M is one of the toughest AP exams because it layers calculus on top of already abstract concepts like Gauss's law, Faraday's law, and RC circuits. Ian's chemical engineering program at Cornell covers electromagnetism in depth, so he can unpack Maxwell's equations and walk through the calculus-heavy derivations the exam demands. He treats each problem as a chance to build physical intuition, not just grind through integrals.
I am an Applied Physics Major with an Emphasis in Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University. I love to share the joy I have in the sciences and math to show truly the applications are so far-reaching.
Hi! I'm Palmer Blackstock, a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Chicago and over two years of experience in tutoring high school and college students. My primary focus is on Physics at both introductory and advanced levels, with an additional focus in math subjects like Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus. In my past tutoring I've helped students grasp complex concepts in mechanics, waves, and electromagnetism, as well as math concepts in trigonometry and calculus. I believe in a collaborative, student-centered approach, where I'll ask the student what they know, what they don't know, and what they want to get out of our tutoring sessions. I always tailor my lessons to meet a student's individual needs. I'm dedicated not only to enhancing a student's understanding of math and science concepts but also fostering a love of science by providing engaging content and real-world examples. In addition to my passion for education, I also love writing and journalism, especially finding engaging methods for science communication. I enjoy reading books and listening to science podcasts. But I'm also an avid video game and board game player.
AP Physics C: E&M is one of the hardest AP exams for a reason — Gauss's law, Ampère's law, and RC/RL circuits all require setting up integrals in contexts most students have never seen. Nicholas pairs his MIT-level math fluency with a chemistry major's comfort in electrostatics and electromagnetic theory to walk through each problem type methodically. Rated 5.0 by students.
Gauss's law, Ampère's law, Faraday's law — AP Physics C: E&M asks students to think in three dimensions about invisible fields, which is a fundamentally different challenge than Mechanics. Charles breaks down each law by connecting the integral expressions to physical setups students can visualize, like charged shells and solenoid cross-sections. His 5.0 rating speaks to how clearly he makes these abstractions click.
