I am an interdisciplinary educator with an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. My background is primarily in integrated arts learning and museum education and I specialize in visual arts, history and art history, and object-based learning. In all subjects, I take a creative, inquiry-based and learner-centered approach, designing opportunities for each unique individual to meet their learning goals.

I'm a recent Duke grad with experience in Resume Writing, Statistics, Mandarin Chinese, Art History, and Math. I'll be available starting in July through August to tutor. In September, I'll be pursuing my Masters Degree in London at the Sotheby's Institute of Art.

I am comfortable tutoring in a variety of subjects, particularly at the elementary and middle school level. I am most excited about US history, English, writing, and public speaking. I am deeply passionate about educational equity, and firmly believe that every child has a right to an excellent education. As a tutor and teacher, I work to ensure that my students demonstrate growth in a subject area, in general academic skills, and in character.

I'm an undergraduate at Brown University with a planned concentration in Health and Human Biology and Visual Art. I have had extensive experience working as a summer camp counselor, teaching at a Mandarin School, working as an SAT Tutor, and tutoring Physics, Biology, and Math at a local high school. I am more than happy to offer college advice and SAT II and AP prep given my experience with the application process!

I am passionate about empowering others to not only reach academic progress, but also gain a greater self-confidence through encouraging, patient tutoring. I am a middle school school STEM teacher seeking additional students to help in my out-of-work hours. I'm a recent graduate from the University of Chicago with BAs in Anthropology as well as History and Philosophy of Science. I love to teach about these subjects, and am also eager to tutor writing and study skills! I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, with a BA in English Literature, and New York University, with an MA in Arts Administration. I truly enjoy learning so much that Ive studied various subjects at over 10 additional colleges across the United States and Europe, starting in high school! Im also a student of life, attending special seminars (like Landmark and Tony Robbins) whenever I get the chance. Over the past 15 years, Ive had the pleasure of teaching in many different settings. Ive been a museum educator, a classroom teacher (teaching either math, science, English or art), an education program manager, a leadership trainer (teaching a leadership curriculum through the arts), a yoga instructor, and a tutor. Because Im so passionate about learning, its a pleasure for me to inspire my students to discover their own passions and reach their goals. In my spare time, I enjoy world traveling, reading, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, swimming, making art and exploring South Florida. I am relatively new to tutoring but am enthusiastic about learning and excited to start!

I am a Master of Architecture candidate at Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Colgate University. While I tutor several subjects, I am very passionate about mathematics and physics because of the tangible progress which I am able to help students achieve, and I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities. I have been a mathematics and physics tutor for the last eight years and have worked with students enrolled in middle school, high school, and university courses. As a tutor I work to build my students confidence and independence. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing and playing volleyball and tennis.

I am a recent graduate of The Johns Hopkins University where I received a B.S. in Neuroscience and Visual Arts. Currently, I am studying for my Masters in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University. I have ample experience working with and teaching children of all ages. In previous years, I have tutored for the SAT, ACT, geometry, and calculus. Given my academic background, I also feel confident and readily prepared to teach high school and college-level Biology and Chemistry.

I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, with degrees in physics, astronomy, and studio art. During my time at university I was a member of the Physic Education Research group, conducting studies into the best methods of math and physics pedagogy. Although I am most accomplished in physical science education, my methods are applicable to all kinds of science. I have also studied history and literature extensively as a matter of personal passion. My goals as a tutor reach beyond simply grasping the material at the level which it is presented--I aim to give students the intellectual and emotional tools to grasp underlying principles of any field, and the confidence to believe that this is something they can achieve under their own power. In my spare time, I write fiction and paint, and I love the outdoors.

I'm a educator and visual artist with many years of experience teaching and tutoring high school and college students. I have a BA in Political Science from New College of Florida and a MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. While I'm a photographer by trade, I also have a passion for and expertise in Math and the Natural Sciences -- as well as French and Spanish, having studied and worked in both Paris and Central America. While I'm proficient now, I struggled with both languages early on, and understand the challenges of both starting a new language and in moving from a conversational to a more proficient level. I'm also available for ACT and SAT test prep -- and work especially well with students who are visual learners (though I have a wide range of materials and resources for all styles of learning!).

I'm a recent graduate from Reed College where I majored in Political science with additional concentrations in environmental science, sociology, philosophy, and 3D art.

I am qualified to tutor many subjects, my favorite subject by far is math, specifically calculus. Math is a subject almost universally hated, and I believe that is mainly due to the narrow way in which it is taught. I have ADHD, and I often don't understand things the first time they are explained to me, meaning over the years I have had to figure out different ways of looking at information. Oftentimes, all a student needs is for something to be explained in a different way, and I love watching people finally understand a concept. Everyone learns differently, but everyone can learn.

I'm currently a fourth year medical student. I graduated from UCSD with B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a minor in Visual Art. I'm very interested in math and science, as can seen with my educational background. Since I'm currently a student myself, I understand the frustration one can experience when faced with some academic challenges. I'm here to help and hopefully find a better way to overcome these challenges.

I am a practicing painter living and working in Brooklyn. New York. In 2008 I graduated with a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art, and received an MFA from New York Studio School in 2011. In 2014 I received a Fulbright Fellowship to Leipzig, Germany, where I lived and painted until earlier this year. I teach art in a college setting as well as at several art centers in the New York area, to students ranging in age and skill level, in a variety of media and techniques.

I am a sophomore college student at Texas A&M! I have always had a passion for knowledge, and I'm super excited to ignite that passion in my students! Learning study skills and habits that will set students up for success is my main goal.

I am a current Game Design Major at the University of Central Florida, with a minor in Creative Writing and certificate in German language. I was very involved in my high school's honor societies and band program, and through these have taught many students, be it in music or academics. I have also worked as a Graphic Designer, both for volunteer work as well as paid gigs, and have proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. Likewise, I have studied writing since high school and was the Editor-in-Chief for Valencia College's Phoenix Magazine, in which I wrote, edited, and revised work. I have often used the above opportunities to mentor people before, and find it exciting to pass on whatever tips and tricks I've learned along the way, as well as bond with others in a shared subject.

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where I majored in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology as my field of choice. I have always had a great love for history and am currently trying to turn that passion into a career. While studying at UT Austin, I had the opportunity to tutor and work with children as part of a summer program at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Recently, I have been working for Berkeley2 Academy as a tutor and preparatory class instructor for subjects ranging from SAT and ACT Verbal skills to US AP History.

I'm from the Chicago-land area! I graduated from Grand Valley State University with honors in 2017, majoring in medical laboratory science. There I received many scholarships due to my academic success and developed an appreciation for some classes I had previously disliked in high school. I changed my major two weeks into the start of freshman year, trying to avoid taking many chemistry and physics classes; But after my first week in those courses, I had a newly piqued interest. I believe it was my professors that sold me on how chemistry and physics could be fun. They were always encouraging students to ask questions, and instead of rushing through the material to meet deadlines, they made sure students understood instead of simply regurgitating. Their passion for teaching topics most shy away from, and selling me on enjoying the material myself, instilled the want to share this knowledge and teaching style with others.

I'm currently a substitute teacher working towards my Master's in Teaching (Science, Secondary), my primary interest is in writing new, comprehensive and engaging material which makes sense to students. I love students of all ages, I enjoy watching the "lightbulbs" go one when they understand a difficult concept, or when they are elated because they remember a fact they couldn't before. I am young and I am still learning, and I can't wait to become an even better tutor!

I'm a current student at the University of Virginia, working and studying in Charlottesville during the school year and Charlotte during summer! I'm looking forward to tutoring you or your children! I'm a persistent, dedicated student who has experience working with those younger than me and I hope to share my academic knowledge and experiences. High school AP classes are my favorite subjects to tutor. In my free time, I enjoy sailing, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with my miniature dachshund.

I am currently a 4th year student at the University of Virginia pursuing a double major in Economics and German Literature and Linguistics. I studied at Humboldt Universitt zu Berlin for two years while living in Berlin, Germany, specializing in courses such as Marketing of Innovations, Economics of Entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial Decision Making. I am currently very passionate about pursuing a career working with children and young adults, either mentoring or teaching, and my experiences volunteering with refugees in Berlin sparked within me a passion for this career path. I am very well versed in writing, reading comprehension, 2-D and 3-D art (digital and traditional), languages, and math up to Calculus I. I have several years of experience tutoring students in both SAT and ACT prep, as well as in English and German for non-native speakers. Some of my areas of interests include being outdoors, cooking new cuisines, reading German and English literature and books, drawing and painting, taking road trips, traveling across Europe, and listening to music.

I am a graduate of James Madison University. I double majored in English Literature and Arabic. In college, I started tutoring students of all ages. I assisted them in various areas of study, including essay and Arabic grammar. After college, I worked at a refugee center with children of immigrants. I helped them to adjust to a new environment, while simultaneously adapting to the public school curriculum. I am also a certified ESL/TESOL teacher and have experience teaching groups of students as well as providing individual lessons.

I'm Angie! I am a senior at Arizona State University in the Barrett Honors College studying Psychology and Studio Art. I was an honors/AP student throughout high school and have exceeded on AIMS and the SAT. I enjoy working with my students to make sure we are going over material in a way that they can most efficiently learn the material while still enjoying the learning process.

I am a current undergraduate student pursuing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in History. I have a passion for showing students the value of the information they learn. I believe learning is most meaningful when students make connections organically, synthesizing information in the way they best retain. I have experience tutoring students at all levels of high school as well as college freshmen.

Currently, I am a Research Technician at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. I have tutored as an undergraduate student, and I have been the lead TA for General Chemistry courses at UC Berkeley. Chemistry is one of my passions, and I would love to share my experience!
