As a passionate educator with a Master's degree in School Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Baylor University, I have over thirty years of tutoring and classroom experience. Specializing in reading intervention, I utilize the Orton-Gillingham approach to create tailored, engaging learning experiences that foster student confidence and success. My teaching philosophy centers on building a supportive environment where students feel valued and motivated to explore their potential. I believe that every child can thrive with the right guidance and encouragement.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy time with my family, reading, and exploring new teaching strategies to continually enhance my practice.
