As a passionate tutor with a Master's degree in Applied Anthropology from Mississippi State University, I bring over 5 years of diverse teaching experience in subjects ranging from Algebra to Anatomy & Physiology. My journey began in high school, where I tutored peers in math, and evolved into a teaching assistant role in the Biological Sciences department during my graduate studies. I thrive on creating tailored lesson plans that connect complex concepts to students' interests, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for science. My teaching philosophy centers around encouraging curiosity and critical thinking, ensuring that students not only learn but also engage with the material. I am dedicated to helping students succeed academically while instilling a love for learning, particularly in science, which I find endlessly fascinating. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy many hobbies and sharing my time with friends, family, and loved ones.
