My name is Ashlyn Smith, an endocrine Physician Associate in New River, AZ. As demonstrated by nearly 15 years of endocrine patient care and over 10 years in medical education, I have a keen interest in endocrine care and effective, clinically-relevant medical education.

I have extensive experience in endocrinology and have additional
experience in a variety of clinical areas including pediatric endocrinology and internal medicine. I have a particular interest in delivering facilitating learning and engagement in a remote environment.

I stay active in the medical community by lecturing at local, state, and national levels, publishing peer reviewed CME articles and scientific abstracts, and lecturing at Physician Assistant programs. I have served as a Peer Reviewer for the "PANCE/PANRE Challenge: Quick Q&A Review" and Contributor to the Endocrinology Review Section in "Lange Q&A Physician Assistant Examination."

I am Past President of the American Society of Endocrine Physician Assistants after having served as Immediate Past President, President, Secretary, and Chief Delegate. Engagement, leadership and personal development have been strong focuses throughout my career as evidenced by roles as the American Academy of PAs CME symposium Chairperson, Metabolic and Endocrine Disease
Summit Co-Chair and Expert on the Spot, Point of Care Network Center of Excellence Faculty Member, and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Midwestern University. I was honored to be a recipient of the 2024, 2022, and 2019 America's Top PA Awards.

Throughout my PA profession, I have been devoted to student, patient, and clinician education, process improvement, strategic problem solving, and innovation. I take pride in completing tasks efficiently and strongly value collaboration with a variety of key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
