I am a recent PhD graduate that is passionate about science and helping others think creatively about how the world around them functions. My experiences have given me a unique perspective on how to approach biology while also teaching me how to effectively interact with people. Before my career in grad school I conducted 2 years of post-bacc research at Harvard Medical School, which was instrumental in understanding how tier 1 institutions conduct science and educate their students. While in my PhD program, I assisted in teaching several classes at Princeton; Intro to Biology and Cell & Developmental Biology. These classes covered a wide breadth of biological subjects, so I am well versed in how to introduce most concepts within this area. I was personally responsible for precepts (small sub groups) of up to 15 people throughout the year and it was in this setting that I guided students through auxiliary lessons and addressed topics that were too dense to be fully covered in the main lecture.
