Hi my name is Margaret and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! I have been teaching for 6 years and have experience working with learners in 1st and 2nd grade, teaching reading, math, social studies, and science. I have taught in Tennessee and Texas, but no matter where I am, I am dedicated to making sure my students have a fun and engaging learning experience.

I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Education and am also certified in gifted and talented education. My teaching style is human, story-based, simple, empathetic, bright, and cheeky. I believe in creating a positive learning environment where kids feel comfortable to express themselves and actively participate in their own learning.

In our online sessions, I will make sure to create engaging conversations with my students and incorporate things they enjoy into the lesson. I believe in time management, collaboration, and keeping my learners motivated through discussions. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, shopping, traveling, and being outdoors. These interests influence my teaching style and help me be more creative in my approach to online learning.
