As a dedicated educator with a strong foundation in mentorship, I bring a wealth of experience and passion for guiding students to reach their full potential. My journey in teaching began during my tenure as an instructor at Mathnasium, where I assessed students' math abilities, developed personalized learning plans, and delivered engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs. This experience honed my ability to develop instructional strategies and foster a supportive learning environment conducive to student success.

However, it was during my senior year of high school that I encountered a transformative experience while tutoring a third-grade student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Initially, my traditional communication methods fell short in engaging and aiding my student's learning. Recognizing the need for a different approach, I delved into research and discovered the importance of non-verbal communication and the use of visual aids for individuals with ASD. This experience taught me the importance of adaptability as an educator.

Transitioning into the realm of language instruction, I furthered my teaching skills as an instructor at Sangcheol's TOEFL School in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Here, I provided comprehensive instruction across all sections of the TOEFL test, integrating relevant vocabulary and grammar practice to enhance students' language proficiency. Through patient guidance and effective communication, I empowered students to overcome language barriers and achieve their academic goals.

My commitment to education extends beyond formal classroom settings to mentoring and tutoring initiatives aimed at empowering students from diverse backgrounds. As the Director of Education for Emory University of Allied Essential Medicine, I directed events and raised awareness on issues of medical licensing and access to affordable medicine, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and continuous improvement of educational offerings. Additionally, my involvement in Emory Graduation Generation and the Avid Mentoring and Tutoring Program reflects my dedication to providing academic support and mentorship to students ranging from elementary to high school levels.

Moreover, my current role as a research assistant at the prestigious Emory National Primate Center has provided me with a profound sense of purpose and invaluable lessons in professionalism and mentorship. Working in a professional environment has enhanced my understanding of the importance of mentorship and collaboration in fostering academic and personal growth.
