I am an experienced teacher with over fifteen years of classroom experience. I look forward to applying my skills to help Varsity Tutors provide students with a more personalized approach to learning. After graduating from Saint Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in biology, I went on to earn a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Throughout my years of teaching high school students different science subjects, particularly chemistry, I have developed the skills necessary to ensure you attain the highest academic level possible. As a result of this experience, I gained a better understanding of how to make scientific principles and theories more relatable to students, thus making them less abstract via creative teaching techniques. Using these techniques will help you learn and understand the material deeper than you ever imagined. The passion that drives me is education, and I am interested in helping students come to love learning, as well as transforming the way they understand science.
