Certified Tutor

I am a teacher, author, homeschool mom, and entrepreneur, and I love teaching! I have over 16 years of teaching experience, which is comprised of grades preschool through adult education, most in the mainstream classroom, some online, and some tutoring in groups and one on one, outside the classroom. Special education and challenging behaviors are included. I have a BSED with a concentration in English/Language Arts and an A.S. in Teacher Education. I am also TEFL certified and have and currently am helping foreigners speak English. I have a special interest in helping kids improve their reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills, as well as helping them meet goals in subjects that appear to be challenging. Because I have such a wide range of expertise in the area of teaching, and I have dealt with a myriad of students from different socioeconomic backgrounds and age groups, I will be a perfect fit for helping your child achieve his/her goals. I have taught ESL classes online with iTutorGroup, and currently on TakeLessons. I look forward to working with any and all students, helping them to receive the quality education that they deserve.
