As a tutor I feel its important to individualize instruction and use different methods to help someone understand the subjects and skills they need assistance with.
My job has allowed me many opportunities to teach skills to people of all ages and understand that what works for one person may not necessarily work for others.
I also have experience in working with people who struggle with ADHD and CAPD.
It is my firm belief that part of learning is learning how to cope with emotions that come up with learning so this is something that I like to incorporate into my tutor sessions.
