Certified Tutor

I am a certified Math and Science teacher with four years of teaching experience. I have had the opportunity to teach students math, science, and peer counseling (including study skills and leadership) at the 6th-8th grade level. In addition, I have experience homeschooling at the elementary level.

I was not always a teacher and have a lot of life experience that has helped me in my role as a teacher. I love helping students succeed and seeing that moment where they finally "get it." I love helping students and seeing their confidence grow. I change my approach depending on the student's current ability and the learning style of the students. I believe all students can understand the material and work hard to find the approach that will help them best. I love what I do and can't wait to meet you!

Hobbies

I love reading all different types of books and typically read a few books a month. In addition, I love going on adventures outside. During these adventures, I collect rocks and fossils. I have a butterfly and pollinator garden serving many different species.
