As a five year experienced elementary teacher I am excited to be tutoring students in math and reading. My specialties are in intervention and small group teaching. I love the "ah ha, I get it" lightbulb moment that students have when they have made the connection in their learning of a subject. I enjoy learning about my students as I teach since their personal experiences bring so much to our learning environment. I have high expectations and passion to bring students closer to their academic and life goals. I also believe that a positive growth mindset will carry anyone through life.
