I am a retired community college professor. I have undergraduate degrees in sociology and Earth Sciences. I also have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. All my degrees are from the University of Massachusetts/Boston. I have worked extensively with adult second language learners at the community college level. As a speaker of both French and Arabic, I am particularly efficacious with native speakers of those languages. Teaching is my passion. I believe that education is one of the most realistic ways for people to achieve their potential. My philosophy is rather simple: education is freedom. I take great pleasure in helping students learn and achieve their goals. I see life as a school and everyday, I try to learn something knew.
