I am an International College Sophomore at Virginia Tech. I graduated from the most academically rigorous high school in Russia: The Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239. The school is known for its unique programs in physics, mathematics, computer science, and other relating sciences. I started my tutoring path back in the 10th grade after winning my third Olympiad in mathematics and was asked by my teachers to begin giving additional lessons to my peers. I continued tutoring students for the duration of my time in high school, and now I am looking forward to continuing my passion here at university. While I am able to teach a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about any level of math and physics. Throughout my studies and work experiences, I have given and received feedback hundreds of times and in that process developed an applicable comprehension on how to provide constructive feedback that will help the student learn and develop new skills, rather than drowning them in negativity. I possess a flexible teaching style that is open and malleable to any form of education or support needed by my respective student. I am particularly well adept in making unique programs that focus on my students' individual needs; be it helping them devise a study plan for specific classes or just walking and explaining them through multi-step problems. Whatever the case may be, I'm sure to adapt to any students' needs and expectations and will be able to provide them thorough and insightful feedback and guidance.
