I have seven years of experience as an Adjunct Law Professor in Spanish speaking environment. Highly qualified and knowledgeable of not only understanding but able to explain tone and meaning with idiomatic phrases to nonnative speakers. Students will be able to take their knowledge of Spanish to a higher level during our discussions. My professional background outside of teaching and translating includes experience in international law, human rights, and political research, twelve years in political and human rights monitoring. Regarding academia, I had the opportunity to share my knowledge as an Adjunct Law Professor and taught international law for seven years in Ecuador. Most importantly, I worked for 12 consecutive years at the U.S. Embassy (U.S. Department of State) as the Senior Political Specialist in Quito.
