My name is Ms. Nolan and I'm elated to be in my 17th year of certified Teaching and working with Varsity Tutors. I taught Elementary grades Kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade and 5th grade. I'm an experienced teacher in Middle School - High School, grades 6th- 12th grade. I taught Middle School Math, High School Math, Middle School English to regular Education, Gifted and Talented students. In addition, I'm an experienced teacher in Special Education Functional Skills classes and Special Education Resource classes in the subjects of Math, Reading, and Transition Skills for grades 7th- 12th. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and I'am staying abreast of the latest effective teaching strategies and have a certification in online teaching. My philosophy as an educator: I know and believe all students can learn, but they learn differently. I implement various teaching strategies, in order for all students to learn and comprehend.
