Certified Tutor

I attended college at Johns Hopkins University, where I attained a BS in Neuroscience with honors and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, I took a gap year to work as a biomedical research fellow. I attained my MD from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, and am currently a first year Internal Medicine resident at Mayo Clinic, Rochester.

I have been a tutor since high school, when I worked with elementary school students and assisted them with Math, Reading, and Science. In college, I continued my teaching experiences by serving as a peer mentor for General Biology I and II and teaching assistant for an upper level Neuroscience course Behavioral Endocrinology. While I am happy to offer my expertise in a multitude of subjects, I am most inclined towards Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I believe that being a strong mentor to my students is one of the most impactful ways in shaping future generations, and look forward to working with diverse learning styles.
