I earned my Master of Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University at Buffalo in New York. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Inha University in Incheon, South Korea.

To further specialize in Korean language instruction, I completed the Korean Language Teachers Training Program for Foreigners at the Language Education Institute of Seoul National University in February 2010.

Additionally, I was awarded the Certificate of Korean Language Teacher by the Korean government on February 7, 2014, which formally qualifies me to teach Korean as a second language.
