I am an English teacher based out of Miami, Florida. I went to Montclair State University, in New Jersey, to join their teaching program. Educating students is one of the greatest passions in my life because I love passing on my knowledge to others and helping them grow. I believe in growth mindset and a students ability to achieve their goals despite whatever obstacles they may face. Most importantly, I am very flexible in my teaching by molding my lessons around whichever learning style works best for each student. I love english language arts, writing, and analyzing literature! One of my favorite things to do is help students edit their essays and find their voice! I especially love teaching literary analysis and helping students foster critical thinking skills. I look forward to helping students learn new skills and feel confident in their ability to achieve their goals.

Hobbies

One thing I try to do often is hike! This is comical because I live in a vibrant beach city, but my husband and I try to travel as often as we can. We almost always gravitate toward places with the best hiking spots. Some of my favorite places we’ve been to include Mont Blanc, Yosemite and Vancouver. Besides hiking, I love taking time to enjoy the little things in life; this includes taking time to be silly, dance, and try new things! I also enjoy eating Cuban & Argentinian food, regularly. Empanadas for life.
