Certified Tutor

I am currently a senior at SUNY University at Buffalo. I am working towards a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in education, and I hope to become a high school chemistry teacher in the future. Though I am most passionate about chemistry, I also tutor English literature/language, pre-algebra, and algebra. In addition to tutoring, I have worked as a teaching assistant for two courses in college. One belief of mine that has formed the foundation of my teaching philosophy is that education becomes something truly special once a student applies both the lessons and thinking skills they've learned in their daily life. This is achieved not only by providing active, engaging education but by empathizing and relating with students as well.
