Certified Tutor

I received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I double-majored in English and Philosophy. I am also a TEFL certified English as a Second Language teacher for almost two years. I have experience working with both children and adults in this area.
As someone that has spent a great deal of her life enduring anxiety and depression, learning was (and still is) my escape. However, I know that many students experience similar stressful feelings towards their education. That's why I dedicate myself to helping others experience the joy of learning by adapting to each student's particular needs.
Our tutoring sessions will be designed to help students relax and enjoy what they are learning. We will have fun while also being goal-oriented. My specialties are English, Philosophy, and other Humanities. My greatest strength lies in my ability to assist in breaking down complicated or confusing material into explicit, manageable content for my students' assignments and projects.
