Hello, my name is Jenny. I am an Exceptional Children resource teacher at Culbreth Middle in Carrboro. I have a Master's degree in Special education, licensure in Special Education, and I am working toward getting my licensure in middle school English Language Arts in the next few weeks. I have previously worked with students in grades 2-8 with a main focus in reading, writing, study skills, organization, and social skills. The students I teach vary in their academic abilities from kindergarten to 9th grade level skills. I am a very patient person with a good sense of humor and I get along very well with students of all ages. I have worked almost exclusively with kids and teens my entire life, so I have a lot of experience and I am not easily scared off by emotional or behavioral concerns.
