Currently working towards a quantitative finance bachelor's degree and financial engineering master's degree at the Stevens Institute of Technology while concentrating in math and algorithmic trading strategies. Extensive experience tutoring middle school and high school students. My philosophy is that each student is an individual and my teaching focuses on finding what works best for each individual student. I can help students in all math, finance, and economic subjects as well as some computer science topics. My goal is to keep students engaged and motivated by showing them how their subjects can relate to future aspirations. As a tutor, I plan to show students that new subjects and obstacles seem intimidating at first; however, they are not alone, and all experts had to start somewhere. While I will try to relay that message as a tutor, the message is the same for all aspects of life. I didn't always love mathematical subjects, but after having some amazing teachers/mentors, I have realized how relatable/impactful the subjects can be. I hope to show my students that the work they do in school is not the only application of their knowledge. Lastly, I like to live an active lifestyle, and I love basketball, cities, beaches and food.
