I am currently a third-grade teacher in Virginia, where I am licensed for PreK to Grade 6. My teaching style is rigorous, but my personality is warm, kind, humorous, and patient. I will meet your child at his or her current level and work with them until they feel confident with the subject matter and meet or exceed academic standards. I have a B.A. in Art and M.A.T in Museum Education that taught me to approach challenges with creativity.

Before becoming a classroom teacher I taught museum and community programs to both children and adults.

I am particularly interested in summer enrichment sessions to set students up for success in the coming school year. I am also interested in helping pre-service teachers pass the PRAXIS through content and test taking skill support.
