I would stay up at night, far past my bedtime, to read the Nancy Drew and A Series of Unfortunate Events by my dim night-light. I would challenge myself daily to learn a new word and test them out in everyday language in horn-tooting glee. I understood the importance of language and now I am constantly seeking to master it. Language is a vital tool, never to be underestimated, and those who are skilled in it hold a powerful position. Language is the key to empathy, advancement, relationships, and more. Language is essentially life.

I want to place the power of language in your hands, to pass the baton of learning and experience that I've procured in my own scholarship on to you. I'm so passionate about literature, research, and the English language.
