Certified Tutor

As someone who has always been passionate about reading and writing, I am excited to begin sharing my knowledge with students. I have always gotten straight A's in my english classes, and taken every opportunity to broaden my knowledge of literature and writing techniques. In high school, I was constantly helping my peers in english classes, eventually progressing to the point where I was occasionally getting paid to edit college essays in an unofficial capacity. Having taken multiple AP english exams as well as the SAT and ACT less than two years ago, I am well-prepared to provide students with test-taking tips directly applicable to current versions of those tests. I believe the best way to improve skills in english is to read as much as possible, and so I will always come prepared with reading materials and writing examples. I can't wait to start tutoring you!
