I am finishing my final semester studying bioengineering at the University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC) and hope to start medical school in Fall 2019. Throughout college, I've been involved in various translational/clinical/engineering research projects and volunteer opportunities serving the Chicago community. But, what I find most meaningful is empowering other students through mentorship and tutoring.

I currently tutor biology, chemistry, and math (through differential equations) at the college level through my role as a Peer Mentor in Campus Housing. However, I have also have extensive experience working with students from pre-K through high school both through positions at companies similar to Varsity Tutors and privately.

My approach changes vastly depending on the age, skillset, and goals of the student I work with, and the approach has certainly proven effective - most of my clients started as referrals from other students I've worked with. I'd be happy to be your mentor and share the same tips and tricks that helped me succeed throughout my academic career!
