Certified Tutor

I am currently a creative writing major at The City College of New York (CCNY) and an aspiring poet, novelist, and playwright.

I graduated from the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) with an Associate of Arts in Creative Writing with High Honors, and while earning my degree, I was the Vice President of CSN's Creative Writing Club and part of their editorial board for their literary and visual arts journal: Neon Dreams. I am also the winner of Steiner's Emerging Voices Scholarship for poetry and Neon Dreams' Monthly Writing Contest for poetry at CSN and the Goodman Fund Poetry Award at CCNY.

Before earning my degree at CSN, I tutored students in English and math for the "No Child Left Behind" act which, in fact, had inspired me to go back to school and receive a formal education. Reading and writing are my passions, and I believe that anyone can find the joys of learning with the right attitude and proper motivation which is why I decided to get back into tutoring students.

Apart from academia, I enjoy reading and writing (of course), listening to music, watching Broadway musicals and plays, exploring the city and, occasionally, revisiting old video games from my childhood.
