Certified Tutor

I am currently studying Elementary Education at Appalachian State, and am planning to graduate and become a teacher in the public school system. I have been working with students, through babysitting for the past 10 years, and tutoring for the past 5. Most of my tutoring experience comes from a summer VBS put on by my church to help those students who may need a little extra academic help over the summer. My passion is elementary school aged kids, with a passion for learning, and also for having fun. I want to make each and every tutoring session both fun and educational for the student. It's also important that at the end of each session, the student is able to recount what we worked on, and what we plan to work on in the next session. I look forward to meeting with you!
