I am always happy to meet and interact with students because I know that the experience will enrich both our lives. I have recently been a high school principal and teacher, as well as a university lecturer, and this experience has been rewarded by the visible and measurable successes of my students. My fields of interest and expertise are generally known as the humanities, and include literature, social studies of various kinds, and philosophy. I have also worked in special education with a wide variety of learning abilities and skills. In these areas of study I believe that I can help students develop a real understanding of the meaning of being human, as well the motivation and skills needed to reach their academic goals.
