I believe children are special and unique individuals and may learn best in ways not conducive to traditional classroom settings. They may need help moving past a rough spot in a subject. Or maybe they need more repetition to solidify a concept in their minds. Whatever the situation, I love working with students, discovering what makes them tick, and seeing that "ah-ha" light come on in their eyes! =) And even though learning requires engaging our brains, I try to make it as an enjoyable experience as possible.
A little personal background - I'm a Clemson Electrical Engineering graduate, former Square D employee, and current homeschooling mom of 6 children. My oldest is currently in graduate school at Pepperdine University, and I am still teaching my youngest 4 at home. I also teach highschool classes at our local co-op.
