My approach to tutoring is like having a conversation. A teacher usually has a classroom full of students, so he/she doesn't have time to work with each student individually. When I am helping students, I want to cater to their specific learning styles, so I encourage conversation, questions, and looking at things a little differently. I aim to make concepts and principles memorable for students, be it by visualizing, explaining, or even singing! I am a Business Management student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but I am also taking Baking and Pastry courses at Jefferson State Community College. As number sixth of ten children, I can work with students of any age. I have experience in numerous math, social studies, science, English, and business subjects, as well as test prep for AP tests, ACT, SAT, and other standardized tests.
