The first couple of years as a regular education elementary teacher, I noticed that many of my students were at least 2 grade levels behind or they had some sort of disability. This is when I started on my 2nd Masters in Special Education. I learned how to make accommodations for students to help them learn in several different ways. I found my passion for teaching increased for my students grew more as I found more strategies that increased their learning! Then I started as a Principal and obtained a 3rd masters but got involved with younger children so I worked on an Early Childhood Endorsement so I would understand cognitive and development skills of younger children and how this affects their learning. All 3 of these master degrees along with 11 years of experience plus lots of laughter and love have made me an excellent teacher and have produced the smartest kids! I make learning fun so that children do not dread classes. I find stories that kids are interested in so that they will comprehend what they are reading. If they are not interested in a story, they will not comprehend it! Once learning is fun for a child, they will love school!
