Hello! I am Joslyn and I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After receiving my B.S. in Psychology at Truman State University, I completed student teaching in Germany and went on to receive a Masters degree in Elementary Education. After working with special needs students in Hazelwood School District, I pursued my heart's desire and taught in the inner city of St. Louis for two years at North Side Community School.
Missing the life of being an overseas educator, I secured a position in Seoul, South Korea at Korea International School in 2012. Yearning to learn more, I moved to Cairo, Egypt and took up a position as a first grade teacher at The American International School in Egypt in 2012.
In the spring of 2016, I felt compelled to return to public education in the United States and is currently teaching in St. Louis County, Missouri.
