Certified Tutor

Since early years as a child I had always been interested learning all I could of mathematics and science. My first attraction was meteorology and then on to mathematics chemistry and physics- just loved to read those text books- often before the material was taught in school. I had a little worry that classmates might call me a nerd or something, but instead they asked me to tutor them. Then I enjoyed sitting one-on-one with others to discuss these subjects and transfer enthusiasm for learning. It was generally successful. Later at college physics was one of my favorite subjects- receiving and "A" for those courses. My professor referred me to the learning assistance center where I still work as a professional tutor.
I don't currently play any sports but I do enjoy watching them televised. One type of game that I have played and enjoy much is the game of chess. Becoming a master is one of my goals.
