Certified Tutor
I believe helping people is universally beneficial. It is contagious to help those who have helped you in your life and I aim to instill motivation and resilience in students who find learning tedious and overwhelming. Education is most imperative in life and it must be nurtured meticulously.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I ask the student what their biggest strengths and weaknesses are first, and then I ask how they study on their own and learn their habits. Following that, I try to enhance their studying habits by implementing certain criteria or challenges to perform up to standards.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I introduce myself and get to the know the student on a personal level. Tell them that school doesn't occupy 100% of their lives and help them achieve their standards not only in school, but also in life.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I'd develop a plan of strategies to resolve the problems so that the student can follow this procedure on his/her own. Basically, an algorithm on different scenarios.
