Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate from Case Western Reserve University with a BS in biomedical engineering. I've taken a variety of classes that have focused heavily on biology, chemistry and physics. Recently, I also self-studied for the MCAT 2015, scoring in the 95th percentile. As an individual looking to eventually attend medical school, I believe developing a fundamental understanding of the biological / medical science is extremely important, and there is no better way to learn material than being able to teach others. I hope through my tutoring, not only will I be able to share my passion for knowledge, and help others succeed academically.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Teaching is being able to pass off knowledge, and I believe it is a time where both the student and teacher are constantly learning.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Have an assessment and determine their areas of expertise, and see where they need to improve.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Inspire or motivate them to actively engage the material head on. I believe everything taught in class can be applied somewhere later in life.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Raise my enthusiasm for the subject and really try to instill my passion for the subject.
