I am currently an undergraduate student at Texas Southern University, pursuing a bachelor of science in Computer Engineering. I have worked as a tutor, mentor and student instructor since my first year of college and this has brought me in contact with different students, who i have been privileged to work with. I tutor mathematics majorly, more specifically anything from basic level math to college algebra. Math as a subject has always been one known to get the hearts of most students racing, and this problem begins right from the very basic level. However, my passion for this subject has led me to find easier and more effective ways of understanding mathematical concepts and i have ever since tried to share the same knowledge with as many students struggling as i possibly could. I also believe that the problem of the "idealized difficulty" of mathematics that most students have, has to be tackled early and this course encouraged me to become a math tutor, using every knowledge and skill i have acquired to help students overcome this fear of mathematics and also to help enhance their understanding of the subject. Asides tutoring, i am also a huge fitness enthusiast, a personal trainer and a dog lover.
