I am currently studying biochemistry and philosophy at Rice University in Houston, Texas. I have a strong passion for learning and believe that education is key to not only succeeding in the business world, but also enjoying life to its fullest. Throughout high school and even earlier, I helped teach my friends and my brother things that they had trouble with in class. I've always enjoyed those "eureka!" moments of figuring out something that previously puzzled me, and the only thing that compares is helping others to have those moments. The most important thing, I think, is understanding fundamentals and the basics of any subject before moving on and building on those basics. Primarily, my focus has been on math and science tutoring, though I've helped write essays and speeches in the past and have enjoyed it. As a biochemistry major, it seems natural that my favorite subject has been biology for a long time. In my spare time, I unwind by playing guitar and listening to music. I also play all sorts of video and board games when I have the time.
