Certified Tutor

I am a junior attending Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. I am working toward earning my Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences, with concentrations in Public Health and Biology, while minoring in Music. After college, I plan on attending nursing school and becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

I started tutoring students when I was in high school, in subjects ranging from Algebra to Writing to Music to German. When I left Germany and came to the United States for college, I became certified to tutor Calculus I and the German language at Johns Hopkins University through their student-to-student tutoring service, "The Learning Den."

Tutoring has been such a joy of mine because of the students I've been able to work with. Working together to get through a tough concept or problem is made totally worthwhile when the student then says, "Ok, let me do this next one on my own. I've got this." That's when I know knowledge has truly been shared, and that both the student and I have done our jobs.

When I'm not tutoring, I love to be outside! You can find me either running on the beach in the summer or snowboarding on the slopes in the winter. On rainy days, I like to stay inside to watch movies or draw pastel or play with my cat and dog.
