I am a multi-lingual college professor. Teaching Mandarin Chinese and Asian philosophy are my passions. I have more than 1000 hours of teaching experience to professional clients. My clients include the employees of the Pentagon, Department of State, Agriculture, and Intelligent Agency, professors of U-Penn, U Michigan & North Carolina, and traditional students from graduate, undergraduate, and high school.
Mandarin Chinese is my native language. I was born and educated in Taiwan. My B.A. degree (major in Philosophy), and first M.A. (major in Political Science) had earned by using Mandarin Chinese as a linguistic tool in the 1970s. In addition to that I also served as Senior Journalist in the "Press Division" of "The legislative Congress of Taiwan," and "A Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy" for the "Fu-Xin-Gong University," Taiwan as well.
English is a primary linguistic tool used to earn my Doctoral and second M.A. degree from Temple University, PA. My TOEFL score was 610 out of 650 in 1992. On top of that, I have been teaching college courses in the field of "Humanities' + "And Mandarin Chinese" since 1992. My English proficiency, including speaking, listening, writing, and reading comprehension is equivalent to the ILR 3+/4 level
To be able to adopt and employ the advanced online teaching platform professionally is another trait mark of my teaching career. I have all the training and practicing in using Zoom Conferencing, Blackboard, Canvas, and Teams as well. My virtual lessons integrate the power-point presentation, video clips, audio sounds track, online discussing board, and small room interactive activities.
