My Tutoring Philosophy and Style: I am very adaptive and very good at reading people. I tend to utilize visual tools including PowerPoints and YouTube videos when possible. Each person learns differently. I often utilize humor and like interjecting appropriate quips, when possible, to lighten things up. I teach what is practical, using a practical approach. I use real world examples whenever possible. My motto is learning that is fun tends to be more effective.

I have been teaching SCUBA diving for over 35 years. I have certified thousands of divers up to and including instructors. I have trained people from the ages of eight up to eighty. I taught martial arts for over twenty-five years as well. Additionally, I enjoy skiing, fishing and the outdoors.
