Working across these different disciplines has reinforced my approach to teaching and my belief in a multidisciplinary approach. This approach allows for connections between subjects and real-world examples and creates a more engaging and easier-to-understand experience. My goal is to help students grow beyond knowledge and promote critical thinking and confidence.

Outside of work, I love spending time on the water, especially water skiing, and getting creative with pottery. I also explore questions about medical ethics, conducting research on how Western medicine has been shaped by past ethical violations and injustices.
