Darrien

With a bachelor's and master's degree in music and teaching experience spanning kindergarten through undergraduate college, I bring a lifelong passion for music education to every lesson. My approach connects music theory to the way we learn our native languages, making complex concepts intuitive and approachable. I empower students to take ownership of their learning, think critically, and develop a deeper, lasting understanding of music.

I enjoy many activities such as video games, anime, going to the gym, and playing with my cats! Video games and anime have actually inspired much of music creativity - which is where my own music composition comes into play in my daily life.
