I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Florida with a rigorous IB background and 2 years of one-on-one tutoring for grades 8-12 in math, science, English, history, and SAT prep. In the first session I find where a student is actually stuck, then break problems into small steps, have them explain their reasoning back to me, and build toward independent practice.

I spent high school in FIRST Tech Challenge robotics and still love designing and building mechanisms. Outside of robotics, I swim, play violin, and am working toward my private pilot license. I also like cooking, making espresso, and playing board games with friends.
