About Me
I previously served as an Advising Fellow for Matriculate for nearly two years, with my advisees receiving offers from Cornell, Northwestern, USC, and the Gates Scholarship. The approach I take is student-led. As a storyteller, I deeply value getting to know my students and amplifying their voices. I encourage my students to leverage their individual strengths and stand out in their essays, rather than only being what they think an admissions committee wants to see. My first-generation low-income background informs me on how to beat the odds and overcome educational barriers.
