Hello, I'm Dr. D! I'm a former principal and middle/high school English teacher, and I'm excited to help you become a stronger, more confident reader and writer. I've worked with advanced students, English Language Learners, students with dyslexia, and those who find reading and writing to be a challenge. I believe everyone has strengths and areas to grow. My goal is to help you discover your strengths, build confidence, and find strategies that work for you, so you can share your ideas.

In my free time, I enjoy watching my favorite NFL football team, creating fun t-shirt designs, and cooking new recipes. In addition, I work in my vegetable garden, and exercise daily to stay active and healthy. These hobbies help me relax, and balance work with the things I enjoy.
